3 years ago, when the concept of DIENASTY SELECT was in its premature stages, Jeremy Poincenot was a normal college kid. Only about 6 months into the beginning stages of DNS, Jeremy began noticing a change in his vision. He began asking the rest of the DNS crew to help him read road signs and markers. I clearly remember him telling me, “dude, I think I need glasses or something.” After months and months of testing, Jeremy was diagnosed with LHON: a rare hereditary disease which causes a slow loss in sight.

During the making of our Spring 2010 collection, MTV’s True Life followed Jeremy through his everyday routine and documented how he deals with and also takes advantage of his situation. Jeremy is an inspration to everyone around the company and we’re continually motivated by him to continue to follow our passion and Build our Dienasty no matter what the circumstances.
